Privacy Policy

Effective: August 16, 2026

DIGIRAY.Corp. ("we", "the Company") provides Argos Vet AI (the "Service"), an AI-assisted reading support tool for veterinary dental radiography. This policy explains how we handle personal information.

The Service is a professional tool intended for veterinarians and veterinary clinic staff. With respect to animal patient data uploaded to the Service, the uploading clinic acts as the data controller and the Company acts as a processor handling such data on the clinic’s behalf.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information.

  • Account information (required): email address, name, password (stored only as a non-reversible hash), role (veterinarian/assistant), clinic name
  • Account information (optional): license number, business registration number, contact details, Digiray equipment ownership
  • If you sign up or sign in with Google: the email address and name provided by Google. We never receive your Google password, and in this case no password is stored on our servers.
  • Clinical data (uploaded by you): dental radiographic images, exam date and region, animal patient details (name, species/breed, sex, date of birth), chart number, clinician name
  • Service usage records: analysis requests and results, reports, error logs
  • Analytics data (collected automatically): page path, visitor and session identifiers generated in browser storage, referrer, language preference, device type (mobile/desktop)

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not store IP addresses or browser User-Agent strings for analytics purposes. Advertising impressions and clicks are recorded only in aggregate form that does not identify individuals.

We do not store guardian (pet owner) identifying details such as names or contact information in their original form. Where guardian identification is required, we retain only a non-reversible hash.

3. Purposes of Use

  • Account registration, authentication, and management
  • AI-assisted reading of radiographic images and generation of reports
  • Providing reports in multiple languages (Korean and English)
  • Ensuring service stability, handling errors, preventing abuse, and applying usage limits
  • Statistical analysis for service improvement (in non-identifying form)

4. International Transfers and Processors

To deliver the core functions of AI reading and report translation, radiographic images and reading text are transmitted to the providers below. Identifying text regions in images are automatically masked before transmission.

  • Processor: OpenAI, L.L.C. / Country: United States / Data transferred: masked radiographic images, reading result text / When and how: upon analysis request, over HTTPS / Purpose: AI reading and English translation / Retention: until the processing purpose is fulfilled
  • Processor: Anthropic PBC / Country: United States / Data transferred: masked radiographic images, reading result text / When and how: upon analysis request, over HTTPS / Purpose: AI reading / Retention: until the processing purpose is fulfilled

5. Retention and Deletion

  • Analysis results and reports are retained for one year from creation and then deleted.
  • Images received through imaging-device integration (API) are deleted — both original and masked copies — immediately after analysis and report generation. Only the reduced-size image needed for report display and the PDF are retained.
  • Externally shareable report links remain valid for 30 days from issuance and cannot be used to view the report after expiry.
  • Account information is deleted without delay upon account closure, except where retention is required by applicable law, in which case it is stored separately for the required period.
  • Deletion method: electronic files are removed in a non-recoverable manner, and image files are permanently deleted from the file system.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction granting such rights, you may also exercise the right to data portability and the right to object to processing.

Requests may be submitted to the contact below and will be handled within the period required by applicable law.

Requests concerning animal patient data must be directed to the veterinary clinic that uploaded it. We act on that clinic’s instructions.

7. Security Measures

  • Chart numbers are stored encrypted; the value used for duplicate checking is retained only as a keyed hash.
  • Passwords are stored using a non-reversible hashing algorithm (Argon2).
  • Identifying text regions in radiographic images are automatically masked before transmission to AI providers.
  • HTTPS encryption is applied to all communications.
  • Data is isolated per clinic so that one clinic cannot access another clinic’s records.
  • Key processing activities are logged to detect unauthorized access.

8. Cookies and Browser Storage

  • Session: an authentication cookie is used, valid for 8 hours.
  • Language: your selected display language is stored in browser local storage.
  • Analytics: a random identifier is generated in browser storage to count unique visits. It is not combined with your name, email, or other information.
  • You may clear cookies and storage in your browser settings, though doing so may limit functionality such as staying signed in.

9. Eligibility

The Service is a professional tool for veterinarians and veterinary clinic staff. It is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
